I stopped by Value Village today, as I do every so often to see what they had. I spoted a bag in the toy section that had 2 Smurf figures in it along with a couple other toys. I recognized them because as a child we had them and we played with them alot. I checked the date on the foot of one them and it said 1978 so I new they were vintage ones. I then spotted another bag, but this bag just had all smurfs in it, 10 in total. I then spotted another and another. In total I found 10 full bags of Smurf figures and the one that had 2 in it. The bags were only $1.99 so how could I not grab these toys from my childhood. That was .25 cents per Smurf. I knew these figures were collectable but I had no idea that the ones that I had found were worth so much.  I did a bit of research online and found that I had 2 of the top 5 rarest Smurfs. One being the Smurfette Baseball and the second being the #1 Grad Smurf. I also had a rare set of 6 Historian Smurfs. All the Smurfs that I had found were in perfect condition, not even a single rub mark or missing any paint. It is like these were someones personal collection.
